Just want to know of those of you who have taken delivery, how do you find the posted MPG or L/100km as compared to real driving conditions?
Which app is that? With the app (iOS) I use, it allows entering in the car computer stats. See the attached picture of my fill-ups since owning my TLX. The RED marker is the calculated mpg (trip miles and gallons purchased) vs. the gray marker which is entered from the car computer.
You can see the car computer is always lower. Since we do not know what goes into that calculation, I use it as a gauge to either smile at the high mpg or smile at the "spirited" driving I'm enjoying!!
There are Two versions in the App StoreWhich app is that?
Thanks! Maybe I'll check out the lite version. There are Two versions in the App Store
Road Trip Lite
and
Road Trip
I believe the Lite version only allows one vehicle. The Full version allows multiple vehicles. I got the full version for $0.99 (years ago), but now I see it for $6.99!
One of the best apps for this purpose.
Were you driving from Canada to OH(downhill from north to south)On my weekend trip to Columbus OH. Although only a hundred miles on the tank of gas so far, I ended the (350+ miles) trip at 37.9 MPG. The commute this morning is already bringing it down!!
Which is why I'm confused. As per the VCM video, the cylinder deactivation occurs between 48kmh - 112kmh which is why I've been driving at 11kmh ever since I watched the video then how is the car giving great fuel economy at 120kmh? My first road trip I got 7.5L/100km in normal mode doing 120kmh.I had 6.7L /100 KMS this weekend trip to BC normal mode at 120 kmps highway BC mountain roads sports mode- impressed with v6 economy fulltank over 700 KMS still showing 105 kms to empty.

That's amazing. 4 cylinder?from my trip to VA from NY... this was the return trip.
531 miles - 37.7 mpg
It was 90-99F for most of this drive, and AC was on.
I'm pretty happy about the mpg.![]()
