I’ve got a 2022 Acura TLX 2.0T with full bolt-ons and an FK8 turbo swap. Currently, I’m running a JB4, but I need an actual tune to optimize the setup. I decided to buy KTuner for this purpose, but to my frustration, I found out it only supports North American ECUs. My ECU is the Japanese one, 37820-6S8-Y54, which isn’t supported.
I’ve reached out to a few shops and tuners, but it’s been a dead end. Either they don’t know, or they confirm it’s unsupported after making me wait days. Honestly, this is getting frustrating, and I’ve even thought about selling the car. But at the same time, I don’t want to give up on it because I love this build.
The pressure is on because I’ve got a track day coming up at the end of December, and I’m worried about the engine blowing mid-track without a proper tune. This is kind of my last resort—if anyone has experience with this ECU issue or knows if Cobb Tuning (or anyone else) could help, please let me know.
I’d appreciate any guidance or recommendations. I just want this sorted out so I can get back to enjoying the car.
