Brand new 2021 TLX + Tech Package. I have successfully paired my Samsung 9S. Hands Free Link working fine. Wired USB connection works fine for Android audio.

I have enabled Wireless Android setting on the phone. However the car reports no device is available.

Looking for help diagnosing this issue, it seems nuts to require a hardwired connection with a 2021 TLX.

I understand that the is simply to much data passing back and forth to go through Bluetooth with the exception og some Google pixel phones, I pick up my 2020 V6 this week trading my 2018 and will be playing around with Android Auto and Apple but my need to upgrade my phone. I have a S8 and Moto z 3 play.

This will be my 13th Acura since 1999. Wanted it in white but only blue was available, I got a great deal on it with the A-Spec, AWD, V6 for $10,000 less the the 2021. I have to say the shape and design is awesome and if I can afford it I will get the type-s in grey an a few years.

To cut it short, to make it from the go, you're going to need a wireless connection, or you can easily listen to music via Bluetooth. More in-depth answers are in the discussion.

Has anyone heard or seen and mention of Honda doing the same for any model year of the Acura TLX? I see that it is available in the 2022 MDX so pushing it out as a software upgrade does seem a possible! It would be nice... I have a 2021 TLX Advance and it makes no sense to have your phone sitting in a wireless charger and having to plug it in for Android Auto.

See, me too, mine won't work which is 2019 TLX sh-AWD advance package. My 2017 Ford Fusion Sport do better than this, I can even remote start from my phone.
Acura need to step up their game.

I saw that 2019 MDX can remote start from phone so I thought 2019 TLX can do the same but no, when I call the company, not the dealer, they said only after 2021 model can do that. I am kind of regrets to change my car. By the way my old car also used wired connection for Android Auto. Infact I actually downgrade myself without knowing it.
