LOL is it obvious what the painters tape is for? i had..every...single...boarder agent ask me.."hey what's up with the tape?" when i told them it was to protect against rock chips on the road trip they all gave me one of these:

meh whatever it did it's job perfectly

It's only people who spend too much time on auto forums who know what the tape is for. Lol

Thanks, enjoying the new acquisition.. I'm going to copy this look, just that mine will have the blackout grill. Rims should be on in a week along with lowering 1 inch.

This dark blue car is driving me crazy, all of the pollen this time of year seems like it is constantly dirty...

Cleaned it up yesterday, and applied a coat of RejeX to it, decided to snap a pic this morning.

I went from a Crystal Black Pearl RDX to Fathom Blue Pearl like you, it's a little easier to keep clean but looks much better, IMO.

I'm a huge fan of the Fathom Blue, it's the first dark colored car I've had in over 25 years, so I guess I'd gotten lazy with my light colored cars that look good even when they are dirty...

I have a California duster, but have never really warmed to the idea of dragging dust and dirt across the surface of the paint. Currently it's so clear and unblemished, I don't want to have any hairline scratching of the clear coat. My experience with Honda paint is that it's traditionally pretty "soft"...

X2 for the California Duster. It helps a lot with the dust and pollen especially for darker coloured cars.
