Hey Hey!

What's up Ladies and Gentlemen, just picked up my black/espresso TLX! What a sweet ride! Graduated from a very satisfying and fun to drive Chevy Cruze eco 6MT.

Love having my first luxury car so far! Living and working in a city I rarely will drive it so I'm itching for opportunities for road trips.

Plans so far are to put tint on, appointment is set for tomorrow night. Debating to do 35 fronts, 20 in the rear and back windshield, or just 20 all around. Any words of wisdom?

Looking to add the rear spoiler ASAP. Also think I am going to pick up a car cover do keep the pollen and pigeon love at bay, I saw a couple of asks about them on other posts, has anyone actually purchased one from ebay or another site like CarID? Any responses speaking to quality/price?

Check out some pics of my new baby, and the tiger image is my new upper dash display, looks mean!

Welcome. Id look into the local laws to determine what level of tint to get. A good tint shop should know too.

Mine is 35/20 and Im happy with it.

Welcome to the forum. That's a good upgrade form a Cruze. Hopefully you enjoy the car as much as I do.

I think MTD covered what to look for as far as tint goes.

Welcome to the Forum! Glad to see your first post.

Best of luck with the tint. I went 35 on the sides and 15 in the back window.

Welcome. It is my 2nd day here and I love it, I am sure you will too. Love your interior decision. I have tint on mine, but unfortunately I don't remember what percent I went with... sorry. Although it is good to see what is legal in your area (if you want to black them out to max). Keep us updated with it.

Glad to see a brand new member and its awesome that you have some mods planned already.

Do you not drive in the city? Take public transport and walk instead?

Be sure to come back and post pictures of your TLX after you get the tinting done.

Nice move up coming from a Chevrolet.

Where you looking at anything from GM before deciding to go the Acura route?

Noticed Chevy owners usually aspire to own Cadillacs :D

Whoops-edited.

I was not looking at anything GM, was just between the TLX, Audi S3, and maybe the Mercedes CLA250, but that was just too small. I'll wait for a benz until its time to get the C63 AMG.

I don't drive in the city, I live a mile from work so I ride my bike and keep my car safely tucked away in my private parking spot. Obviously I'll take it if I need to go to somewhere like target but otherwise I could go a couple weeks without needing it.

Will be uploading pictures with tint tonight!

I wen't with Suntek CXP, 35 in the front, 25 in the rear. LOVE IT! Paid $280 at a shop that was super friendly and quick!
Very nice tint. :)

I recognized the Smithsonian in the background and then saw the Washington Memorial. Do you live in DC, Maryland or Virginia? DC is such a great place to live near and/or visit.
