TLX GT Race Car will Debut at mid-Ohio

The Acura TLX will compete in the GT category with the RealTime Racing and veteran driver Peter Cunningham. The TLX GT will compete in a double header race weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The TLX racecar is a collaboration between HPD and RealTime Racing with a twin-turbo V6 engine with AWD.

“We’re excited to debut the Acura TLX GT race car in front of our ‘hometown’ audience of associates from the many Honda facilities in central Ohio,” said Art St. Cyr, President of Honda Performance Development and Vice President, Auto Operations, American Honda. “The competition in the Pirelli World Challenge is fierce, including many of the luxury makes the TLX will compete with on the sales floor. Acura has never shied away from a challenge. Instead, we seek it out, both on-track and in the marketplace.”

Interesting that some of the pics show a wire grill outline instead of the beak....ummm....shield. Good to see that it will actually be on the road soon.

Yea that form of the grille I think looks better than the shield. THey should try to use that more often.

No full IMSA cars come with regular 4/5 lug hubs. This isn't NASCAR. :D
