Hey guys,

I was looking into getting the 4 cyl. model and saw a class action lawsuit for the issues with the 8 speed DCT transmission.. Are there still known with the issues?? Now I'm seriously reconsidering and looking to get the V6 accord instead.

I have had my I4 since August 2014. No transmission issues. :)

The Accord is a very nice car, especially at the high end with leather and 6 cylinders, but at the end of the day it's still an Accord. I can't speak for your financial situation, but if you are thinking about getting a loaded Accord that's pushing the $30K price point, just go with the TLX.

I just had the software update done to my tranny and so far a world of improvement. I would go with the TLX.

Is your car one of those first out the production line? Mine is manufactured in Apr 2015 and I don't think I notice any transmission issues.

I took delivery Sept 9, 2014 and had a build date in August 2014, so yes, mine is one of the very early ones.
