Well it is finally time for my first service. Typically not a big deal however I had my TLX since August and it has never been back to the dealer. Here is my list of items so far: Normal First Service (Oil Change, brake adjustments, etc.), Software Update, and Recall for Transmission not shifting into Park.

I have the V6 with Tech Package (US model). Are any other must have updates that I need to inform the dealer of?

Does anyone know approx. how long the recall and software will take? I can't hang out at the dealership for a full day so if it will be a while I need to request a loaner.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just plan to leave it with them for the day and get a loaner. I was offered a loaner when contacted about the transmission parking recall. The service reps will check their system for any TSB's that are appropriate. There should an update for the ODMD/Navigation.

You gotta read the posts or use the search feature. :)

It took me 5 1/2 hours. I should've rescheduled and got a loaner.
