Rumor has it that Acura might be building a coupe version of the Acura TLX as the luxurious version of the Accord coupe, possibly being a return of the Acura CL

Acura is due for a luxury coupe, it's been years since we had a CL.

I though Acura didn't want to get into luxury coupes, they just dropped the idea of having an ILX coupe.

i know the only 2 door their more than likely to make is the "mini-nsx" the CL never did well with sales so it could be gone forever.

Don't see this happening. The CL is long gone. People who would be in the market for a 2 door mid size V6 fwd would just get the new accord.

Maybe providing a coupe could work in Acura's favour. The reason the ILX wasn't successful was because people felt it was boring and needed more performance. People want a performance oriented Acura. Maybe a TLX coupe could be it.
