Do you own or are planning on purchasing a new Acura? What will happen if you get into an accident? Will you just take it to the Acura dealer and have it back in a few weeks? Perhaps a few months? Nope, keep going. Watch this news special about what can happen if you get into an accident. It’s only a 3 minutes video.

I was putting a Type S front splitter on my ‘21 TLX a couple of weeks ago and it requires 3 parts (the splitter lip and two support pieces). There was only 1 dealership nationwide that had the two support pieces that I needed and they only had 1 set so I cleaned them out. I had to source all of the parts from dealerships in different states. That was pretty eye opening to me.
Parts are SLOWLY coming in from various dealership. I ordered a color matched hood garnish back in March and it just arrived at Honda HQ in Torrance. But ya, parts are coming in but slowly....

Last time I replaced my both side mirror due to the puddle lights issue. I got my car back within 3 days. And my dealer very nice to me, give me a loaner which is a brand new 2023 TLX to me. Parts is slow but not that bad here. If someone one know more let us know. We appreciate.

Ya. I recalled ordering the Type S Brembo brake kit back in September 2021. I got everything by November of 2021 except the brake hose and there wasn’t any ETA. So I ended up getting custom braided stainless steel brake hose.
And last heard from my friend those brake hose started to come in like late October of 2022. 😂

What a nightmare for that owner. I'm fortunate, I have my 2015 in for a new transmission, once I get the OK from the warranty Co., Acura can get a new transmission to the Dealership within 24 hrs. and then the removal and install will take between 48 - 72 hrs.
