So, I've had my car for close to a month and I'm pretty happy overall.

The only glaring issue that I'm having is that when I'm talking on the cell phone when I get in the car.....or if I make a phone call immediately after starting the car, the car's microphone will not work after the handoff occurs. The call is running through the Bluetooth system, it's indicated on the dash, I can hear the other person's voice over the car's speakers, but they cannot hear me. I have to switch back to the handset to be heard.

If I wait for a minute or two, it appears to work fine without issue. Anyone ever seen that with a TLX?

That connection with bluetooth has always been wonky!
Sometimes after a phone OS update, I delete/reconnect my phone to get it straightened out!

It takes a couple of minutes after the car starts and/or the phone is detected for the system to completely initialize. PITA, to be sure, but I've never seen one that didn't have this issue to some extent. Acura/Honda seems to be a little on the slow side compared to BMW/MB and latest Cadillac. Old Cadillac was much worse, though.

UPDATE

I had decided to live with the laggy cell phone handoff issue but a little over a week ago, I experienced the same problem (call worked on the car speaker but microphone wasn't working) after I had been driving for five miles and about 10 minutes. Took it to the dealer and their solution was to re-install all the software and reset the system. They are telling me that everything worked for them.

I upgraded my iPhone to the newest iOS and re-paired it to the car. We'll see if it works.

I just bought my 2023 TLX and it’s doing the exact same thing. Sometimes I can’t even pick up the cal because the car does not give me the option. And when it does give me the option, i pick up and hear the persons voice but they can’t hear me. did you keep having this issue?

It's intermittent but it happens every couple months. Static is pretty routine (at least once a week).
