I'm brand new to the forum

I'm brand new to the forum, but as a recent BMW owner (electrical fire in the BMW, totaling my car 2 1/2 weeks ago, and two weeks AFTER paying off my BMW) I'm very excited to be picking up my new TLX tomorrow! I find the TLX to be a notch below, but not far below, the BMW in performance, but there are so many positives to the TLX (equivalent comfort level in the cabin, smoother ride, low maintenance costs, better fuel, love my color combo - black copper/espresso, and other reasons), I like the Acura BETTER.

Welcome to the Forum! Glad to see your first post.
Never had a BMW, so I will have to take your word for it. :)

I sure love to drive my TLX. I am sure you will too.
Sorry to hear about your BMW, but welcome to the Acura family!
It is interesting to see posts of owners switching to the TLX from a BMW with positive views, and then the odd post of someone leaving the TLX and going to BMW. Just shows you cannot please everyone.

Isn't it the truth. Everyone's rear end sits differently in different cars.

Nice step away from a BMW.

This is the sort of move i've seen many go through, those that have already experience BMW's enough, BMW attainable to them, to then venture out and feel like they're not missing out on anything special.

Keep us posted on how things go with your new TLX!
Did you opt for the 4 calendar or the 6? Welcome to the world of low operating costs and top notch reliability. I like BMW, but sometimes they aren't as good of a deal, and I love a good deal.

This is true.
They're just lucky that there's a status people aspire to have that BMW provides which gives them some leverage.
welcome to the boards, any pictures of the fire? #voyeur ;)
