Today my battery died by keeping my radio on too long while cleaning my garage (lol) So no big deal , my wifes car is alongside me... BUT.. when our battery's are dead, the trunk push button does not operate. So my jumpers are in my trunk, and I had to open the trunk manually by this METHOD. Push down on the side towards you, and it will flip open, top removes, then use your car key.

There is a jump point under the hood....

Great big Red PLUS on top of it next to driver's shock tower. Connect red to that post and black to ground.

There's also a dedicated ground point marked (-). It's the unpainted bolt sticking up a little bit that's to the right of the (+) terminal. Very considerate of Acura, but indicates that a senior engineer somewhere in the project expects that the car will need to be jumped frequently.

Want to bring up this thread. Out of the blue my trunk will not open. I used both of my key fob, inside door trunk release button, and also the outside trunk release button. Nothing works. I even check on the glove box and the switch is On. But for some reason when I am was sitting in my car and press the key fob or the button by the door, I can hear a soft sound of a "click" by the driver side footwell. Not sure what that might be. Only way I can open my trunk right now is the rear deck using the key to open it manually.

I'm thinking to see if I can try to disconnect the car battery and reconnect and see if that will reset everything.

Like to see if there any other insight out there that have this issue.
