Love the color. Wish it was a bit lighter so it doesn't look so black in the shade. It's beautiful in the sun though. Very unexpected.

I can see what you mean about the color being dark, but I think that one of the cool things about the color is that it takes on a new life when the light hits it. Plus, you live in California so there is bountiful sunshine to be had. Unlike up here in Canada where the sun is going down at 4:50 already :(

Great color combination. I would have gotten it if it was a bit lighter, but it is still a great looking car.

Congratulations and best of luck with it. :)
Yer, at night this colour looks black and in the day its got that nice cooper tint or ginger feel to it. I like it but just not enough to buy it for my person taste but its a pretty wicked colour i think.

I always loved how black copper pearl looks, one of my favorite colors from acura. if there's one thing they should do that's easy, it's to come out with more unique colors like that

I have that same color combo on my car and have had quite a few people comment what a cool color the black copper is - the way it goes from black to dark brown depending on the lighting. The only bad thing is trying to keep it clean looking.

This is quickly looking like my ideal combination, although I'm oscillating between this and the blue almost hourly LOL....

Here a low res photo in our dull fall grey skies. In this light it almost looks charcoal.

and is a nice summer photo that brings out the copper:

I have the same color combo too and it does look nice when the car looks like it changes color depending on the lighting. ;) Love the espresso interior.

I haven't seen the colour in real life, but it's Copper or Basque for me. Is Copper brownish or truly a deep copper colour? Sunshine photo is sweet!
I would say deep copper, but you have to see it in person under real sunlight and not these gloomy overcast fall skies.
There's just so much depth to this color!

Wow! Looks like a galaxy photo I saw online yesterday.

Sharpest ever view of the Andromeda Galaxy

How many colors did you count? :)
I think sometimes you forget how complex car colors are. They change so much depending on the light. Every once in a while when they do interviews with color designers I wonder about how in depth their job is since color designer in some ways can be thought of (incorrectly) as a pretty simple job to have.
Noticed the same thing when shopping! I saw this color on the lot in the sun (rare for Seattle in the winter) and was drawn in. Then I saw the espresso seats and knew this was the color combo. Now it was up to me to find the right model.

What percentage tint do you have? Just bought my BCP TLX and looking to tint it!
