Acura is not the only automobile manufacturer who does this. I've rented several other brands over the last few years while on vacation trips and they all default back to Auto Idle Stop "on" whenever you start the car.

If you own a GMC....you don't even get a button to bypass it. It's a feature that you get to enjoy until you install a bypass.
