I don't really hate being told when I'm too close to the painted line but sometimes I want to avoid a pot hole or a deep manhole cover and veer over. Then the "hey stupid" light and beep warning flash. Or if a lane is extra narrow and you drift over an inch too far. I wonder if the sensors can see the paint when it's dark and rainy and all the pavement looks black. I know I can turn it off but I suppose safer is better. I do like the blind spot monitors, especially in heavy traffic on the interstate. The TLX has lots of high tech safety features. I hope one of them isn't telling the officials that I'm speeding. I'll bet the Feds are working on that legislation for increased revenue.
