2023 TLX A-spec Cabin Noise

Hi Folks,

I am new to the forum, I have owned ILX, RDX, and MDX.

Looking at 2023 TLX A-spec. My test drive was alot of fun, but I did think the cabin noise was louder than expected at on certain roads and speeds.

Looking at reviews online, some mention this as well.

Do folks on this forum have issues with cabin road noise (road, wind, etc.)? Or are reviewers being too picky?

I don't expect it to be quiet as a Lexus ES 350 as example, but also don't want to be disappointed with too much noise.

Thanks,
Barry

Yes, the cabin noise level is higher than the previous generation and it is a disappointment (one of many) for a car in this class.
It all depends what you’re coming from.

I came from a 2008 Civic Si with a catless header and full cat-back exhaust. The TLX is infinitely quieter than that.

Also, I regularly am listening to either podcasts or music while I’m driving. But if you’re the type of person to drive around without any audio on, then you may notice it.

I bought the 2023 A-Spec. I am very happy with quietness on the inside.

I honestly don't know why some on other review sites complained.
