The powertrain warranty is 70,000 mi. That's probably why they were able to do it for you.

Same issue with my 2015 TLX - dealership told me I needed replacement of the Fuel Filler Neck - to the total cost of $742.00. WOW - So I assume from reading the posts - cleaning the capless fuel filler in hopes that it is just dirty and causing some leaking fumes is not going to save me. Ugh!!!
HI! was this issue resolved for you? I just bought this car used with no warranty and this is happening to me... any help would be appreciated.

Lmao this just happen to me. I did notice my gas was low. This is the first time I had emissions or parking brake issue come up and the first time I had my gas close to E. normally I refill it when its half way. So I went put in some gas. Turned the car back on. Codes gone.

UPDATE: Tried to see if I could trigger the lights again. Drove close to E and has not happen again so hopefully was a one time thing. It could have been bad gas from the dealership? idk.

12 March 2020. I just had this issue with my 2015 TLX, about 85000 miles. Disconnected the battery and reconnected after several minutes. Warning lights did not reappear after connecting battery and starting car.

I have a 2015 TLX, same problem. Check emissions and parking brake. I almost did the battery but something told me to check the air filter. It was dirty, replaced it, lights went off after I started it. 4 days later.... lights back on, I checked the air filter housing everything was ok. Something told me change the cabin filter...which I kept refusing to get done..I changed the cabin filter, it was dirty, lights went out. It's been 3 days and no lights. I had the emissions code checked and it said it was a catalytic converter bank 2, not perform up to standard... I'll stick with the filters for now.

Also having the same problem with my 2015 TLX. 98000 miles. Last year it through the same code and my car was stuck in park. I had to have it towed to the Acura dealership. They fixed it and said it was a throttle position sensor. A few months later it was throwing the codes again, but went away. A year later it's doing it AGAIN. JUST stopped for gas after reading all the comments to fuel up just to see if maybe it will fix it AND it just went away. THANK YOU JESUS. I hope that's all it is because I love my car and don't want to get rid of her. Yes her!

We have a 2015 with around 66k on it. Simce it came on a couple weeks ago it has been on and off randomly. Dealership is telling me it's a knock sensor. I almost feel like the plugwire may be damagedAlso having the same problem with my 2015 TLX. 98000 miles. Last year it through the same code and my car was stuck in park. Because I am a list girl, here is the list of fixes from this thread:
1. Battery (car acts wonky if it isn't at 100%)
2. oxygen sensor (didn't work)
3. filler tube
4. firmware update
5. defective manufacturing weld on the exhaust system
6. mass airflow sensor
7. low gas
8. Engine and cabin filter
9. Throttle position sensor
10. Knock Sensor
I would try the cheapest first: checking filters, fill with gas, and charge the battery. If the engine filter is dirty that could set off the O2 sensor. I have found from personal experience that the sensors act all wonky when the battery is not at 100%. My passenger blind spot stopped working (had to turn the system off and on again), front crash sensor warning light, slow to start.

Breaks our heart that we have a 2015 with this issue. We purchased used via our local chevy dealer. They must have done the battery cable reset to make the issue go away during the sell.
Autozone scan code points to a catalytic converter. They tried to sell me some gasoline additives.
Next week car goes into the shop for the Auto Start recall. I'll shell out the $$$ for the diagnosis to be 100%.
Luckily, I live in a non-emissions area so might have to be creative to resolve this issue.

I had the same issue with my Acura 2016 TLX V6 Tech. Check engine light - ON (Check Emissions), Brake Light - ON, P0420 & P0430 codes from OBD reader. An Acura Dealer in middle GA installed a software update which seems to address this issue. This is after a Honda dealer in GA quoted me $1.7K for a cat converter. Please see the potential fix below. I'm having this issue all the time now. All 3 of my catalytic converters blew so they have been replaced, as well as the O2 sensors. Plus a valve adjustment and valve cover gaskets, new fuel injectors and new fuel feed pipe. They did tell me that my spark plugs were needing to be replaced....does anyone know if that would cause an issue and why those warning lights keep coming on?
