aftermarket suspension anyone?

who's running aftermarket suspension? springs? coilovers? bags?

any reviews on them?

i just pulled the trigger and decided on the D2 coilovers:

i went with these simply because i'm just looking for a nice looking drop, not kill corners at the track or anything. i'll probably run them on full soft to get the as close to stock as possible ride but i'll write up a more in depth review when they come in and i get them on.

anyone else like their aftermarket suspension? c'mon our cars already come with factory rolled fenders

I've been looking at these too... will wait for your review...

Scale seems good too... but only 12 damping levels... and of course... RSR... too expensive in my opinion...

shouldn't be too long, ordered just waiting on the UPS guy lol. and i agree, i don't see what makes RSR so expensive. i looked into scale too, but i called 3 times and left 3 messages with no response so they lost my business. imagine trying to get warranty work done and they don't even pick up the phone or call you back.

i was going to originally, i contacted D2 and they gave me their canadian supplier who's located in windsor. no big deal, i have a cousin who's going to school in windsor and he can bring them down or i can go up to see him and pick them up at the same time, except once again, called 3 times, got the run around, he was basically ordering them from the states, adding his markup, then selling them to me. i just got fed up and ordered them straight from the states myself from Redline360 who has them in stock.

Who/where is doing the install? Mind me asking the cost for those?

when i'm too lazy/busy to work on my car I take it to a shop called pro-spec, good guys, been going there for years, pretty much the only people i trust to work on my cars.

here's the damage:

coilovers: $1100
shipping: $95
Duty (done by UPS): $200
Install and alignment: $300

so about $1700 all set and done. keep in mind that the canadian distributer for D2 was marking them up so i saved $400 by just ordering them from the states myself. i got them from a place called Redline360, great service, no problems or bs, would buy from them again.
