TLX Wheel Specs

There have been some questions about the stock wheel specs for the TLX. I will include the stock 17 and 18 inch wheels and also the Acura 19 inch diamond cut wheel option. I will include the stock tire sizes as well.

All have the same bolt pattern - 5x114.3

All have the same center bore - 64.1mm

All have same offset - +50mm

17 inch wheel size - 17 x 7.5

17 inch stock tire size - 225/55R17

18 inch wheel size - 18 x 7.5

18 inch stock tire size - 225/50R18

19 inch wheel size - 19 x 8

19 inch stock tire size - 245/40R19

Wheel Nut Torque: 80ft/lbs

OEM TPMS Part #: 42753-TZ3-A51

TPMS are self learning and do not need to be paired.

Lug Thread Size: 12x1.5

Stock Wheel Lug Seating: Ball Seat

Aftermarket wheels generally have the acorn tapered seat, see this illustration

I have seen some adapters online but I have no experience with them. Based on what I have seen, these adapters are meant to be able to use a wheel with a different bolt pattern. I'm just not sure how good they work however.

you can, nothing wrong with them, just get a good quality one like H&R. also keep in mind that the adapter will also act as a spacer pushing the wheel outward more, which puts a bit of stress on your wheel bearings, nothing crazy tho. i ran something similar on my RSX, a 35mm spacer with studs to fit type R wheels, however it was because the wheels had a +60 offset. also make sure you torque them down to 80ftlbs and use some anti-seize all over the back of them so the adapters dont end up fuzed to the hub.

Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech

is another option. Their wheels spacers are custom made to your specs with regards to bolt pattern and offset.

Would anyone recommend getting 20" rims for the TLX, or is that too much?

They are only practical if your target is style over function, and drive on very smooth roads. The larger the wheel the harsher the ride and greater chance of tire and wheel damage if you hit a pothole at speed.

Just make sure you get the correct size tire so that the speedometer reading is still accurate. This link will help to determine the correct tire.

I'm really bad with these fitment. Not sure if it's appropriate to ask here.

I have a of spare set of rims from the 07 altima 3.5 SE. It's basically the size of our stock 17s, but offset is +45, instead of +50 (see below).. Any idea if this would cause issues? I'm planning on adding the tpms on them and use as winter setup.

TLX
wheel size - 17*7.5
bolt pattern - 5x114.3
center bore - 64.1mm
offset - +50mm s
tock tire size - 225/55R17

Altima 3.5SE
wheel size - 17*7.5
bolt pattern - 5x114.3
center bore - 64.1mm
offset - +45mm
stock tire size - 225/55R17
