noise when turning at low speeds??

is it normal to hear the steering when turning at low speeds..
notice it when pull in my drive way or parking..
doesn't matter left or right..
does not sound like metal clunking or anything..
only have 5.5k km's on the TLX..

??

Is it more of a thump? I had that last year and it turned out to be a bolt that wasn't fastened tight enough. There is a TSB for that if it's the same thing.

Maybe something steering related?

Wonder if a CV joint is bad... at any rate have Acura look at it.

Is it around the shocks? I heard a creaking, metal rubbing near the right side tire when turning and its a bolt not tightened with the correct tension.

can't even pin point it but it's weird.. it doesn't even sound like it's something broken, sounds like it should be normal but it's only got 5.5k. km's on the car, couldn't see it already have cv joint issue or something..
my only issue is the dealership is an hr away and i have to book a day off just to have it looked at..
was hoping it was something normal like the timing tick or whatever..
so it sounds like this is not normal then??

It's hard to say based on a description. It could be a few different things. Unless you can record the sounds somehow...... Otherwise you could just mention it to the service dept the next time you're there.
