Acceleration Loss when turning??

so my TLX has 5.5k km's on it..
when approaching a right hand corner, i slow down almost to a yield then go to boot it, i lose all acceleration for a solid 5 seconds or so during the turn..
i can feel it cut out and everything.. car still has electrical power..
i've had it happen 3 times now, all at random..
at first i thought it was something to do with Auto Engine Idle so i turned it off and never really noticed it..
well it happened again yesterday and Auto Engine Idle hasn't been coming on because of the cold temps so i'm not sure whats going on..
can't bring it to the shop because i can't duplicate it..

anyone happen to run into this situation before?

I've had this happen twice over a two month span. As it was very random, I really didn't get a chance to trouble shoot. I can say that it was at the same corner both times and it was within 5 minutes of leaving work. It is also only happening since I got my transmission replaced although I don't want to link the two together just yet.

Acceleration Loss when turning??

I think it's the transmission hunting for gears.

It could be that. It's just odd that I drive the same route every day and it's only happened twice.

Now that you mentioned it, I think I've had it happen last week.. in a right turn as well oddly... never noticed it before or after so I didn't think much of it. Interesting though.

i've only got 5.5k km's on it too so it's not even been driving a lot

Yes, I have a certain restaurant that I go to once a week or so and the restaurant is right off the highway. I stop at a light and then turn right fast to get back on the highway. It seems to happen almost every time and there is this hesitation which requires me to push extra hard on the accelerator to get past this 'dead spot'. I haven't tried experimenting with it yet, but would want to try:

Try IDS mode in something other than NORMAL
Turn VSA mode OFF
Turn CMBS mode OFF

I would just want to eliminate these items that we have control over since I normally drive in NORMAL mode and always have VSA and CMBS mode on.

The situation with mine isn't starting from a dead stop. I'll be driving at around 60kms/hr and slow to go around a right turn/corner. The two times that it happened, once I get around the corner and press on the accelerator there's nothing for a few seconds and then it seems to sort itself out. The first time it happened I honestly thought the car stalled.

Any other time the car works fine. its just that same right turn that I take everyday and it's only happened twice.

Interesting... but while we try to reproduce this... remember it may not have anything to do with the transmission.
