Pretty much agree with all the editor's likes and dislikes.

I also listened and thought about his dislikes.
The 9-speed is OK (per other reports, not in my 2015).
Manual Transmission?
I do not agree. This is a FULL-SIZE luxury car. Sure a manual transmission is fun, but this is not the type of car to toss around the track (am I now too old!!??)
Navi graphics?
I look at the road, not the screen. I do wish the name of side streets were displayed. CarPlay/AA will fix most of this.
Turbo??
Really not needed. Read the above about the Manual transmission.

If you have the compas in the center MID it shows the street name underneath. That's a current feature and very useful I use it all the time and it even has the name of the on-ramps for the highways!

Love this feature... I wish on the main map it would display the name not only of the street you are on but also the name of the up coming cross street. Sometimes you can't see the cross street name on the map due the zoom level or other factors. Perhaps on the bottom on the screen:

On: Blue Street
Crossing: Green St

I love the aggressive look! I could live with the minor complaints from the reviewer, but the ZF transmission sounds the same, no improvement.

ZF is fine if they didn't make it worse than 16-17 models, and you get used to how it operates.
But the big question would be.. did they fix the () vibration issue at 70mph or not....

It's getting really annoying on my car. It seems each fix has made the problem worse....

The A-Spec package appears to come with Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. They're some of the best, if not the best grand touring tires so I'd assume there's no highway vibration. Weird how it wasn't equipped with performance tires, but considering it's not a performance sedan, I guess I can see why.

I saw the new A-specs the other day. Saw a blue one and one with the red leather. One was the four and the other V6. Love the new look, definately should have looked like this day one. Those A-Spec factory packages are 100x better than the current kit. Nothing looks 'stuck' on. The cabin lighting in the A-Spec's are pretty sharp.
Didn't get a drive

Thanks for posting these reviews Geokilla. They make the 2018 A-Spec sound like what the TLX was supposed to be back in 2015. Not knocking the 2015s of course. The reviewers said nothing about vibrations or howling at freeway speeds and only mild complaints about the 9-speed. We'll see ,,,
