Swapped The TLX for a '17 MDX

As the title says, I took advantage of the many incentives currently available and swapped the TLX for a '17 MDX. I should be picking it up on Friday or Saturday.

I've wanted an SUV for some time and almost got the RDX when I leased the TLX. As much as I still like the RDX, the MDX seemed like the better choice for me right now especially with the updated front.

I still plan on sticking around the forum. It's a great community and I'm always learning something......

It all started with a $1000 email coupon I received last week. It said it was good for a 16 or 17 TLX or MDX. Currently Acura Canada also has $1000 off on a lease. Acura offers another $1000 off for active or retired military members. The car show is also in town so that's another $500. That works out to $3500 in credits plus the 1% interest break. It did cost me around 2k out of my own pocket.

In the end, the incentives made it easier to change over.

Super nice... we have a 2011 MDX that has been bullet proof... good luck with your MDX. Let us know how it goes. What color and trim did you get?

Thanks! It's the dark grey, Modern Steel Metallic. I was that close to getting white again but the grey is so nice.

I got the Navi trim which is close to the Tech trim in the US I think. They only sell the SH-AWD in Canada. It's got all of the Acurawatch features. I'm looking forward to ACC and the walk away lock feature.

Here's a shot at the dealership today. I'm getting the fog lights, running boards, and the roof rails installed. The LED fog lights look really good.

Congrats, I hope the MDX is of better build quality than the TLX, I'm itching to get rid of mine and into something bigger. But gotta do the time before I can justify it.

I really didn't have issues with the build quality of my TLX. I have seen others in the forum though who clearly have issues which is unfortunate and frustrating for sure.

How did you get the $1,000 coupon? Payments are the same? I've been trying forever to get rid of the 2014 Acura ILX but the negative equity is way too high.
