2018 test mule spotted.

2018 Acura TLX shows a new face in the desert

I see exposed exhaust tips, new Precision grill and some kind of projector based headlights.

Ive seen a few MDX's now and the grill looks great. I do like the current cars LED lights, but with the mediocre reviews they received, maybe Acura is going back to HIDs or even an LED projector of some time.

Thanks for the spy leak. I like the exhaust tips. Still on the fence about the new grill but I am surprised they are moving away from the LED headlights... IMHO they have been the best head lights I've ever had on a car.

I'm not sure about the lights either. I think the current look better than what seems to show in the pictures. I do like the idea of the exposed exhaust tips though.

Those lights could just be mule/temps, happens pretty requently. It looks just like a front/rear fascia update. Visible exhaust, new grille, probably new lights front/rear to complement the design elements. I'm not sure I'll like this car better than the current one though.

I am hoping that the TLX 4 cylinder will be available with AcuraWatch and Advance packages. The new grill looks great. Yes, of course they will keep the LED headlights. It would look odd if the TLX doesn't match the MDX, RDX, and ILX.

here's my thoughts as i'm watching closely to see if i would lease another tlx or buy out my current car.

-the new grill looks great on the MDX, however i'm thinking that the grill might not suit the TLX's proportions.

-the headlights look big, not sleek how they are now. i hope they keep the jewel eyes (i don't see them getting rid of it) but if they do get rid of them i would rather the jewel eyes over the grill and exhaust tips.

-exposed exhaust looks good; but i don't like them how they are. i really have to see/curious how it would look with the OEM kit.

-looks like the same size/layout nothing drastic changed so my rims and hopefully suspension can follow me to the next car.
